Missouri residents have many options to obtain disability grants and assistance to help them afford a handicap van. These resources listed on this page may help you get financial aid. There are contributions to purchase or lease a handicap van, or to convert one with modifications like wheelchair or scooter lifts or ramps, turning automotive seating systems, or hand controls for adaptive driving.
Several of these associations, agencies, and organizations provide grants for disabled people for a handicapped-accessible van. While some assist you in finding (and also possibly apply for) Missouri disability grants for which you may be qualified.
Furthermore, don’t forget to check with your local chapter of disability-specific charitable organizations for grant money and other assistance if you don’t have enough funds of your own for a wheelchair van.
