For Pets’ Sake Human Society is a group of volunteers from Montezuma & Dolores Counties in Colorado who work together to improve the lives and well-being of companion animals in their area. It is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1987. For Pets’ Sake has no staff and relies solely on volunteers to make sure 100% of the donations are distributed properly to directly help the animals. Fundraising activities, membership dues, donations, grants, and contributions all fund their operations. To ensure that pets in dire need are assisted into the future, they have also established a permanent Endowment Fund.
