Several non-profits, lenders, and corporations in the state of Oregon offer loans and free grants to minority or female owned businesses. Financial assistance and counseling (free advice) are also available for Latino, Blacks, Asians, LGBTQ+, veterans, and other minority owned small businesses or startups. There is a focus on ensuring women and minority owned companies have the capital they require. Assistance programs for startups or mid-sized businesses in Oregon are also available. Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs (OAME)

The Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs helps minority owned businesses in the state to start and grow. The group includes hundreds of companies, individuals, and nonprofits. They also provide SBA microloans, free business counseling, sales opportunities via contracting jobs, incubator space, and many other resources.
