Grafton Regional Development Corporation

Grafton Regional Development Corporation (Grafton RDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization celebrating nearly two decades of local impact and dedicated to creating opportunities for Granite State entrepreneurs and businesses. As a non-profit, its goal is simple: supporting local businesses which is what we do here at Easy Grants.

Working together to confront business opportunities and challenges head-on is one of Grafton RDC’s many specialities. It enables them to respond quickly to your requests and maintains their reputation for being responsive and dedicated to moving the needle forward. 

There are two business incubator and accelerator programs for startups and growing businesses in Grafton County that Grafton RDC has partnered with: Enterprise Center at Plymouth and Dartmouth Regional Technology Center (DRTC).

Business Loans 

Grafton RDC supports Grafton County entrepreneurs and company owners in obtaining finance to establish and grow enterprises that create jobs. Whether you are a first-time entrepreneur or an established business wishing to expand, they have lending packages to suit your needs. Loan packages for starting a new business, expanding an existing firm, working capital, machinery and equipment are offered. 

Business Assistance 

Since its inception, Grafton RDC has built a remarkable network of collaborators with specialized economic development organizations and programs. For self-learners who wish for a flexible training time, their partners at SDBC provide more than 40 free online classes.  

Who is The Advisor In Grafton County? 

Scott Stephens is the executive director of the Central NH Chamber of Commerce, which he headed for over six years. He managed and designed for a cabinet design firm, and conducted marketing, design, and sales for a custom ornamental ironworks fabrication factory. 

Scott Stephens talks with Grafton County small companies at the Plymouth Enterprise Center. His skills in management, sales & marketing, design, manufacturing, and hospitality have proven useful in assisting several Grafton County firms to start and expand.

Grafton RDC offers free educational seminars and professional skills training to Grafton and Belknap County businesses through the Enterprise Center at Plymouth Small Business Seminar Series. Workforce Development 

Building a network of skilled people is critical to the region’s economic progress. As a business owner, you know how important it is to hire and retain a skilled and educated team. The GRDC is constantly seeking for new ways to address the particular labour concerns, trends, and opportunities affecting Grafton County businesses.

GRDC collaborates with NH higher education institutions and community colleges to develop internship and on-the-job training programs. It also assists businesses of all sizes with workforce concerns by connecting them to state resources.

What are the achievements of Grafton Regional Development  Corporation? 

  •  Grafton County businesses have received more than $2.9 million in loans from the GRDC’s lending program in the previous five years alone.
  • More than 1,000 companies have benefited from the free technical help provided by GRDC since 2013.
  • 784 hours of business advising have been offered over the past three years by our one-on-one business counselling services.
