Renters in Texas have received help from the Texas Rent Relief Program since March 13, 2020, for the following costs.

Past due, current, and up to 2 months in advance of anticipated utility and home-energy expenses
Renters could apply for an additional 3 months of current/future aid after the initial 3 month period if funds are still available.
