ABOUT THE ROSCOE FUND

The Roscoe Fund was established to assist rescue animals or owners who are in need of emergency medical treatment. It works in collaboration with Anchorage’s emergency animal hospitals. It is their aim to reduce suffering in animals that might otherwise be left untreated or euthanized solely for economic reasons.

The Roscoe Fund was created in 2000 when Paul Hendrickson donated money in memory of Roscoe, his beloved dog. It was used to aid other pets. Many others have donated to the fund to honor a pet or loved one since then. From its inception, the fund has helped hundreds of pets.
