The Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP) enhances communities in Maine through empowering people with purpose. These are the people and organizations that are at the forefront of issues and opportunities that will affect future success of the state. MANP makes sure that nonprofits in the state are adapting, thriving, and contributing to the rapidly-changing world as the leading advocate and resource.
MANP has served as a comprehensive resource to Maine nonprofits since 1994. They provide the knowledge, tools, and connections that they need to be effective and well-run. MANP’s contribution to the community can be seen in its ever-growing statewide membership of more than 940 nonprofit organizations, and 165 partners in government, business, and philanthropy.
The Association works to build a cooperative and influential nonprofit sector in the state of Maine through creating new and deeper connections among nonprofits; forging partnerships among the nonprofit, government, and philanthropic sectors; and offering leadership as a vocal advocate for the unique value which nonprofits provide for the state.
