Department of Elder Affairs (DEA), State of Florida

The Florida state government runs the DEA. The department aims to assist elderly Floridians (60 years old and over) to stay at home and their communities. It is an important resource for senior citizens who want to maintain mobility and independence.

Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST)

Florida Department of Veteran Affairs (VA)

The United States VA provides funds and services across the state. The VA of Florida is a valuable resource for residents who have served or are currently serving in a branch of the US military. They may receive partial or complete payments for a wheelchair van for veterans with physical disabilities that were acquired during service.

Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
